Please note that Fender serial numbers overlap from year to year. It is not uncommon to find a Strat built in December 1955
with a serial number of 9,320 and a Strat built in January of 1956 with a serial number of 9,260. More accurate dating can be
achieved by inspecting the neck date, body date (where applicable) and control pot dates of your Strat.
